Tuesday's Mega Millions jackpot increases to $61 million; 2 players matched the first five numbers

The jackpot in the multi-state Mega Millions drawing jumped to $61 million for the Tuesday drawing. The lump-sum cash payout stands at a projected $42.7 million up for grab. No ticket sold for Friday's $50 million drawing hit six winning numbers. The numbers from Friday night, June 25th, 2021 were 17-20-42-45-65 and the Mega Ball was 12, Megaplier was 4. The Mega Millions jackpot has been rolling over for 382 draws since Tuesday, October 17th, 2017.The last jackpot was won by a single ticket sold in New York, matched all six numbers for a $104 million top prize.
Even though the jackpot was not hit Friday evening, Mega Millions had some big winners. There were 2 second prize winning tickets from Friday night's drawing, matching the first five white ball numbers except the Mega Ball number. The 2 second prize winning ticket(s) purchased in won $1,000,000 cash each.
Also, 19 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers, as well as the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. Additional prizes won Friday evening included 230 tickets that matched four lotto numbers and won $500. Other prizes won included 592 tickets that matched 3 white numbers plus the Mega Ball and won $200.
