The multi-state Mega Millions grand prize has increased to $489,000,000 dollars after there was no grand prize winner in Friday's drawing. The lump-sum cash payout stands at $$226.4 million up for grab. The numbers from Friday, May 24th, 2024 drawing were 46-54-56-67-70 with Mega Ball 16 and Megaplier x3. There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past seventeen draws since Friday, March 29th, 2024.The last jackpot was won by a single ticket sold in NJ, matched all six numbers for a $0 million top prize.
Even though the jackpot was not hit Friday evening, Mega Millions had some big winners. There was a sole lucky player that correctly matched all 5 numbers and won the second prize. The 1 second prize winning ticket(s) sold in CA won a quarter million dollar cash each.
Additional major winners Friday night included 10 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers as well as the Mega Ball and won $10,000. Also, 358 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $500. There were 876 tickets that correctly matched 3 white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball and also won $200.
