Tuesday's Mega Millions game grand prize rised up to $420,000,000, since no one matched all six numbers drawn Friday night. The lump-sum cash payout for Tuesday will be an estimated $$191.7 million. Friday's $387,000,000 is the total payout - before taxes - if the prize is taken in annual installments. The winning numbers from Friday, November 15th, 2024 drawing were 05-17-35-55-69 and the Mega Ball was 19, Megaplier was 2. The Mega Millions grand prize has been rolling over for 19 draws since Friday, September 13th, 2024.The last jackpot was won by a single ticket sold in TX, matched all six numbers for a $800 million top prize.
Even though there was no jackpot winner Friday evening, some players still walked away with big money. There were 2 lucky players that matched the first five white ball numbers and won the second prize. The 2 second prize winning ticket(s) bought in MO,NY will collect $1,000,000 cash each.
In addition, 17 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers, as well as the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. Other prizes won Friday night included 369 tickets that matched 4 white numbers and won $500. There were 904 tickets that correctly matched 3 white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball and also won $200.
With nine different prize levels, there were 1,390,148 winning tickets sold nationwide in the Friday, November 15th, 2024 drawing.
Mega Millions is a consortium of 44 state lotteries. The overall chances of winning any prizes are about 1 to 14. The chances of winning Mega Millions grand prize are about 1 in 302 million. The minimum Mega Millions jackpot is $40,000,000. Its annuity option is paid in 30 equal annual installments. Winners may choose one-time lump sum cash payout instead.
