The jackpot for Friday's Mega Millions drawing skyrockets to $336,000,000

The Mega Millions jackpot increased because no one matched all five white ball numbers and the Mega Ball number from Tuesday night's $302,000,000 drawing. The next jackpot moved to $336,000,000 for Friday night's drawing. The cash option stands at a projected $$151.3 million. The numbers from Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025 drawing were 07-17-35-40-64 and the Mega Ball was 23, Megaplier was . There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past 46 draws since Friday, March 28th, 2025.The last jackpot was won by a single ticket sold in IL, matched all six numbers for a $344 million top prize.

Although the jackpot was not awarded Tuesday evening, Mega Millions had some big winners. A total of 11 lucky winners won the 3rd prize. Among them, 11 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000.

Other winners Tuesday evening included 234 tickets that matched four lotto numbers and won $500. There were 603 tickets that correctly matched three white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball and also won $200.

With nine different prize tiers, there were a total of 719,985 winning tickets sold across U.S. in the Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025 drawing.

Mega Millions can be played in 43 states and Washington DC. Mega Millions drawings occur every Tuesday and Friday at 7:59 PM Pacific Time. The minimum Mega Millions grand prize is 40 million dollar. The annuity option is paid in 30 equal annual installments. Winners can choose one time lump sum cash payout instead.
