There were no Mega Millions lottery jackpot winners for Tuesday's $400,000,000 dollar drawing, so the grand prize will leap to an estimated $423,000,000 with the cash value of a projected $$196.5 million Friday, September 19th, 2025. The numbers drawn Tuesday night, September 16th, 2025 were 10-14-34-40-43 with Mega Ball number 05 and Megaplier x. There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past 50 draws since Friday, March 28th, 2025.A single lucky winner from IL walked away with $344 million jackpot in Tuesday, March 25th, 2025 drawing.
While there was no jackpot winner Tuesday evening, Mega Millions had some huge winners. A total of 6 lucky winners won the third prize. These included 6 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball and won $10,000.
Other prizes won Tuesday evening included 203 tickets that matched four lotto numbers and won $500. There were 573 tickets that matched 3 white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball and also won $200.
With nine different prize levels, there were 683,654 winning tickets sold nationwide in the Tuesday, September 16th, 2025 drawing.
Mega Millions is played in 43 states and D.C. Mega Millions uses a 5/70 (white balls) + 1/25 (Mega Balls) matrix to randomly pick winning numbers. Each play costs $1. In some states, players can choose to pay $1 extra to purchase the Megaplier option, which multiplies the prizes 2 to 5 times but not jackpot. The overall chances of winning are about 1 to 14. The annuity option is paid in 30 equal annual installments. Winners may choose one-time lump-sum cash payout instead.
