The jackpot in America's favorite Powerball lottery game continues to climb exciting players all across the nation. Since no player correctly matched all six winning numbers in Wednesday's drawing the grand prize will rise to a projected $96,000,000! The lump-sum cash payout stands at a projected $$41.2 million. The numbers drawn Monday night, August 24th, 2026 were 03, 16, 33, 38, 68 and Powerball number was 02.
Even though there was no jackpot winner Monday evening, some people still walked away with large winnings. There were a total of 12 3rd prize lucky winners. There were 7 tickets matched 4+1 with Power Play option, multiplying the prizes by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each!
Additional winners Monday evening included 197 tickets that matched four white ball numbers and won $100. 64 additional players not just matched 4 white ball, but additionally purchased the Power Play option, double the prizes to a total win of $200 each! With nine prize levels, the Monday night's drawing created 322,391 winning tickets across U.S. with a total amount of $0 prizes.
America's favorite Powerball game can be played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Powerball drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday night at 10:59 p.m. Eastern Time. Powerball uses a 5/69+1/26 system from which winning numbers are chosen. Each play costs $2.
